Nigerians have expressed concern following the announcement made by social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, that N180 million was stolen from his NGO accounts.

Taking to his social media page to break the news, VeryDarkMan stated that hackers breached his NGO website and made off with the large sum.

This comes a day after he was spotted cruising in an expensive and luxurious Mercedes Benz, bragging about his wealth.

It would be recalled that Nigerians donated to VeryDarkMan after he launched an NGO in October 2024, with music producer Don Jazzy donating N100 million.

On December 27, VeryDarkMan took to his Instagram page to reveal that out of his NGO’s funds, only N20 million is left as N180 million has been stolen.

“I will be honest with you guys. For the past few days, I have not been myself. Somebody hacked into the NGO website and I don't know how they did it. N180 million is missing. Thankfully, we’ve tracked the person, and we are on our way to Jos. They have arrested one. The account has been put on PND (Post No Debit). The account now has N20 million," he said.

This has raised concerns, with many demanding to know how it occurred and if his purchase of a new car is related to the stolen NGO funds.
