Singer Innocent Ujah Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba Idibia and his new lover, Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru, were seen at a nightclub in Benin City.

This comes shortly after videos of 2Baba's proposal to her surfaced on the internet amidst his separation and divorce filing from his wife, Annie Idibia.

Annie and 2Baba have been married for 13 years and have two children together. On January 26, 2025, 2Baba revealed on social media that he and Annie had been separated for some time and that he had filed for divorce.

Shortly after, rumours circulated that he was dating an Edo State lawmaker. Confirming the rumours, 2Baba professed his love for her despite the backlash. The singer dismissed claims that Osawaru was responsible for his falling out of love with Annie.

He also took to his social media page to ask Nigerians to encourage her to marry him. Hours later, videos of 2Baba proposing to Natasha Osawaru made headlines.

To celebrate their engagement, the couple went to the club.
