A Nigerian man identified as Awwal Ahmed, who was abducted in Kaduna state six weeks ago, has been killed by his kidnappers.

Senator Shehu Sani made this known in a post on his official Twitter platform.

According to him, Awwal was killed by his abductors although they collected ransom from his loved ones.

Shehu wrote: "Awwal Ahmed was kidnapped six weeks ago in Kaduna state. Despite the payment of ransom, the terrorists still executed him. RIJF."
