The Zamfara state police have confirmed the kidnapping of a school teacher of the Government Science Secondary School in the early hours of Sunday, July 11, 2021.

Mohammed Shehu, the Police Public Relation Officer, made the confirmation in an interview with the media in Gasau.

According to him, the command was aware of the incident and personnel were already deployed for necessary investigations on the matter.

“The entire area has been combed by security personnel and very soon, the victim will be rescued and the perpetrators will be arrested and brought to book,” he assured.
