The Lagos State Police Command have announced the arrest of three suspected robbers in the early hours of Thursday.

The three suspects, names withheld, were reportedly nabbed by police officers on patrol along Baruwa gate, Iyana Ipaja area of Lagos.

According to the police, the suspected robbers reportedly snatched the sum of five thousand naira (N5,000) from a commuter.

The police, in a tweet, added that "three ATM cards belonging to different people were also found on them when apprehended."

All three suspects are currently in police custody.
