The governor of Plateau state, Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has congratulated Mela Kyari, the Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), on the occasion of his 60th birthday.

In a message signed by Gyang Bere, his Director of Press and Public Affairs (DOPA), sent to the press on Wednesday, January 8, in Lafia, governor Mutfwang said Kyari is an exceptional leader whose vision and foresight has greatly reshaped the NNPCL.

He praised Kyari’s consistent efforts in solving critical national challenges and fostering enduring peace, unity, and cohesion in the country.

The governor highlighted that Kyari' hardwork ushered in remarkable milestones, including the resuscitation of two refineries.

These achievements, he noted, have contributed immensely to Nigeria’s economic stability and growth.

“On behalf of the government and people of Plateau State, Governor Mutfwang prayed for renewed strength, good health, and divine wisdom for Kyari as he continues to undertake his noble tasks in service to the nation,” parts of the statement read.
