The Nigerian Ports Authority has disclosed that it is expecting 23 ships with food items, petroleum products and other commodities at the Lagos Port Complex, between now and December 3rd 2020.
This disclosure was made by the Nigerian Ports Authority in a notification tagged ‘Shipping Position‘ which was made available to the news media, in Lagos on Monday.
According to a news report by the News Agency of Nigeria, the NPA in its publication tagged ‘Shipping Position‘, disclosed that the ships are expected to arrive at the Lagos Port Complex.
The shipment according to NPA, contains bulk sugar, bulk wheat, general cargo, bulk malt, bulk gypsum, containers, petrol, automobile gasoline, steel and soya beans.
Speaking about the ships at the Port Complex waiting to berth: the Nigerian Ports Authority disclosed further that 18 other ships at the ports, were waiting to berth with bulk wheat, container, bulk malt and petrol.
While 20 ships at the ports were discharging general cargo, bulk wheat, petrol, butane gas, and container.
