President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari has assured Nigerians that plans have been put in place to sustain Nigeria's economy in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Buhari made this disclosure in a tweet via his official Twitter handle.

"The Vice President briefed me today on the work of the Economic Sustainability Committee, which I recently set up, and which he chairs. The Committee is working on an appropriate economic response to the unfolding impact of the COVID-19 pandemic," Buhari assured the citizens.
