Construction work on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway took another turn today, as traffic began to build up on the Kara Cattle market portion of the road.
They were pictured lifting a few construction blocks off the road with a pulley as vehicles bound for Lagos found themselves stuck few metres to Berger bus- stop, as gathered by MyNigeria.
The Lagos Ibadan Express way has been a source of concern for road users and commuters alike who have suffered harrowing experiences on the corridor.
Construction on the Berger/Kara Market part of the road commenced on September 2 with the enforcement of traffic diversions, and according to Julius Berger, that portion would be completed by December.
