The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Sterling Bank Plc, Mr Abubakar Suleiman, has taken over the shares of the bank held by the staff co-operative society, which are worth N22.9m.
The bank said in a notice filed at the Nigerian Stock Exchange on Tuesday that the shares were sold by its Staff Cooperative Multipurpose Society.
It said the N22.9m shares were a total of 18,457,500 units sold at N1.24 per share.
According to the notice, the share purchase by the bank MD was done on July 16 via the NSE’s X-STREAM platform.
