The Lagos State Government has launched its ferry service today.
It made the announcement in a tweet via its twitter handle, @followlasg.

The lagferry 1800 is expected to be used for weddings, dinners, cruise as well as the movement of containers, vehicles, trucks, from one port terminal to another.
"This Lagferry 1800 tons multipurpose Barge is going on activation today. It can be used for weddings, dinners, cruise, etc. It is also available for movement of containers, vehicles, trucks, from one port terminal to another," it tweeted.

Ismt this supposed to ferry vehicles? Why change its purpose when Lagosians need additional travel means at this time? Conduct a risk assessment and fix it at a particular ferry port where it will more useful to travellers.
