International Breweries reveals increase in products prices

The International Breweries has disclosed the price hike of their product offerings in Nigeria.

The brewer made it known in a statement that reviewing their prices was necessary because of current market realities, and was done to serve its customers better.

The price review affects the Eagle Lager, Eagle Extra Stout, Trophy Stout, Beta Malt, and Grand Malt products.

Head of Sales of the company, Olaleye Abimbola, stated that the company's decision to review the prices will be beneficial to all its partners.

He also called on the company’s partners to honour the old pricing strategy it had in the previous months until the new changes were announced and implemented.

This marks the second increment in prices of its products in a year.

Recall that in their first quarter report, International Breweries announced a forex-related loss of N162.2 billion.

Major brewers in Nigeria have been hit by an economic crisis because of inflation, foreign exchange volatility, and rising production costs, which has led to price increment all over the country.
