With a projected value of $204.89 billion by 2032 which will speed up economic growth in the country, QNET, an E-Commerce giant has called on the government to look towards direct selling to curb unemployment and poverty.
The company disclosed this during a product workshop for journalists and unveiling of new products held at the weekend in Lagos.
Among the newly introduced products was the Amezcua E-Guard X, a compact sticker for electronic devices that transforms harmful Electromagnetic Fields (EMF) waves to beneficial frequencies to users.
Inspired by nature’s geometric patterns, visual demonstrations of the product showcased its positive impact on blood samples, reflecting healthier cell activity.
Through its marketing model, QNET said over 8,000 entrepreneurs had been empowered including 1,350 from local communities within its two years existence in the country.
Sub-Saharan African General Manager, Biram Fall, who noted that Africa currently accounted for about five percent of the economic/financial strength of direct-selling, said there was no doubt that the continent and in particular, Nigeria holds a brighter future should it fully embraced the trend.
Fall said QNET was no doubt solidifying its footprints in the country whose population was projected to exceed that of the United States in the next few years.
“The global direct-selling industry, valued at $167.7 billion in 2023, is projected to grow to $204.9 billion by 2032. This represents a significant opportunity for Nigeria’s direct-selling market to support economic development and foster financial independence for entrepreneurs.
“We are committed to empowering individuals and supporting enterprise development through our business model. This workshop represents an opportunity for stakeholders and media partners to experience our dedication to quality and innovation firsthand,” Fall said.
The QNET boss who cleared misconceptions surrounding the company’s operations, said it was committed to ethical and legal standards across the 25 countries it currently operates.
Noting the significant growth QNET has recorded in Nigeria, Fall gave credit to the logistics partnership it has with Transblue Nigeria Limited.
He emphasised that the company has been in business for 25 years, adding that it has successfully put in place an innovative business model that blends direct selling with e-commerce to offer products that enhance lives and promote well-being.
Fall explained the potential health effects of prolonged exposure to radiation from devices like smartphones and Wi-Fi routers, which today’s world can not do without.
“Our Amezcua line, including the Chi-Pendant 4 and Bio-Disc 3, is designed to enhance well-being and promote a healthier lifestyle. These products leverage advanced technologies to mitigate EMF radiation effects, improve well-being, and promote healthier living,” he said.
QNET’s Category Manager and Global Trainer, Bernhard Gaksch, further explained the Amezcua products, using the Chi-Pendant 4 and Bio-Disc 3 as examples.
He explained the ability of the Chi-Pandant 4 to preserve the body’s biofield, combat stress and fatigue, adding that the Bio-Disc 3 restructures water molecules to boost hydration, immunity, and energy levels.
He further clarified that the Bio-Disc 3 was not a water purifier but more of an energiser, adding “when paired with the Bio-Light 3, the Bio-Disc 3’s benefits are amplified through chromotherapy, which emits specific light wavelengths to relieve pain, reduce inflammation, and improve sleep.”
