The first United Kingdom has left Lagos for Britain, British Deputy High Commissioner to Nigeria, Harriet Thompson has said.
The British flight left Lagos on Saturday.
More flights of this nature were to come, the Deputy High Commissioner noted. Encouraging UK citizens to return home- she noted that they were eligible if on a short term visit to Nigeria, and normally resident in the UK.
