Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, FFK, has slammed Access Bank over its recent decisions which has seen the sack of some of its staff.
Access Bank announced the sack of some staff a few days ago and also proceeded to shut down 340 branches of the bank nationwide.
This was done just weeks after a donation of N1 billion was made to the Federal Government by the bank to assist in the fight against COVID-19.
Reacting to the decision by Access Bank, Femi Fani-Kayode described it as a betrayal of its staff at a time when they need the bank the more.
He tweeted: "You gave 1 Billion Naira to the FG to fight Covid 19 & the next day you sacked hundreds of your loyal staff. You betrayed your workers & turned your back on them when they needed you most because you were more interested in ur profits &appeasing Buhari. @myaccessbank SHAME ON U!".

He added: "Worse still you shut down 340 of your branches! With a stroke of the pen you have thrown thousands of people into unemployment at a time when they are already going through hell because of the lockdown & you have destroyed many families. @Herbertwigwe, how do you sleep at night?"
