The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) will release newly redesigned N200, N500, and N1000 naira notes starting in December 2022.

This was disclosed in a special briefing by Governor Godwin Emefiele on Wednesday, October 26.

He said the new notes were redesigned on request from the Federal Government.
