The Director-General of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, Captain Musa Nuhu has directed all foreign and domestic airlines to observe strict security precautions while delivering cargo to Nigeria.
In a letter sighted by MyNigeria.com and address to airline operators, Nuhu asked crew members of cargo airlines to wear a N95 face mask and use hand gloves before landing on the tarmac.
Due to the social distancing role, their cargo airline will no longer be serviced.
The letter also instructed the flight crew and ground staff to observe social distancing methods, stressing that contact was not required.
The airline regulator asked all-cargo airlines delivering essential services to comply with this protocol assiduously and guide against further spread of the global pandemic, COVID-19.
