FIFA has made an announcement confirming that the Confederation of African Football’s FUTSAL competition will take place in “Morocco’s Laayoune.”
The world governing football body made the announcement on their official Twitter handle.
FIFA tweeted that "the Africa Futsal Championship 2020 will be held in Laayoune, Morocco, from January 28th to February 7th."
"The first group ?? (A) Morocco - Equatorial Guinea - Mauritius - Libya Group B ?? Egypt-Guinea-Angola-Mozambique."
The tweet added that "champion, runner-up and third-ranking player will represent the continent at the FIFA World Cup Lithuania 2020."
