The president of Cameroon’s parliament, Cavaye Yeguie has tested positive for COVID-19.
MyNigeria.com gathered that Yeguie was part of an Air France flight declared to be high risk by the medical authorities of the Yaoundé Nsimalen international airport.
The Minister of Health therefore immediately requested that all passengers on the flight observe 14 days of self-isolation.
A wave of worry has swept over the national assembly, knowing that Yeguie attended at least 2 plenary sessions in the Cameroonian National Assembly.
Since Tuesday, he had reportedly met a few others apart from the 167 deputies currently in the lower house of the parliament.
