Former Manchester United and France forward, Louis Saha, believes Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, will be the perfect player for Ruben Amorim’s side.

The Record English Champions are undergoing the poorest Premier League season, losing a record 15 top-flight games. Amorim’s side are currently 14th in the league, with 38 points from 33 games.

Next summer promises to be a big one for the three-time UEFA Champions League winners as they look to bring in players that’ll fit the tactical style of the manager, rather than makeshift adjustments.

Louis Saha, in four years at Old Trafford, scored 42 goals and provided 15 assists in 124 games across all competitions. Looking at the current state of his former club, the Frenchman urged United to go all out for a striker who knows how to score goals as Zirkzee and Hojlund have struggled to impress, despite costing the club a fortune.

“I really like Victor Osimhen. He’s definitely got the character, he’s got the quality. He’s also got good European pedigree. He was a success in France, he was a champion in Italy with Napoli and he’s gone to Turkey with Galatasaray and been brilliant, a move that he probably didn’t want, let’s be honest.

“He’s scored goals at every level. He’s got Champions League experience, and further more, he’s got the type of personality and charisma that this United squad could really benefit from,” the two-time English Premier League winner said in quotes revealed by Mega Dice.

“I think he would be a transformational signing for Manchester United. If you think about the pressure that he was under at Napoli, firing the club to its first title in 33 years, then he’s the perfect man to lead the line for Manchester United.

“I think he would have a huge impact at United. I would love to see the club hierarchy move for him, I think he is exactly what we need,” the 46-year-old concluded.

Saha joins Rio Ferdinand and Andy Cole on the list of ex-United stars who want the Galatasaray forward to answer the Old Trafford call, but they face stiff competition from several interested parties, in the Premier League and beyond.
In the mean time, Osimhen is focused on winning the Turkish Super Lig with Okan Buruk’s side. The 26-year-old has scored 29 goals and provided five assists in 34 club games this season.
