Former Nigerian international Obafemi Martins has urged Samuel Chukwueze to leave Italian giants AC Milan in the summer.
The Super Eagles winger has struggled to secure regular playing minutes at the San Siro since his arrival from the Spanish La Liga two seasons ago.
Chukwueze has managed just four goals in 47 Serie A appearances since joining the Rossoneri from Villarreal in the summer of 2023.
The 25-year-old chose to stay in Milan in January despite interests from the Saudi Pro League and the Premier League.
Former Inter Milan forward Martins believes it is time for Chukwueze to move on to a club where he can be guaranteed regular playing minutes.
“The Saudi Pro League is becoming increasingly competitive. If a good offer comes along, why not? The main thing is for him to play and become a regular starter again. Rhythm and confidence are essential for him,” he told Afrika Foot.
