The Super Eagles players have begun departing the country following their 1-1 draw against Zimbabwe at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo during the FIFA World Cup qualifiers on Tuesday, March 25.

Premier League stars such as Ola Aina, Alex Iwobi, and Calvin Bassey were spotted at the airport in the early hours of Wednesday.

Tolu Arokodare of Genk was also seen preparing to return to Belgium.

The players are heading back to their respective clubs as the season approaches its decisive stages.

The Super Eagles are scheduled to return for their next international friendly matches in June.

However, the team will resume competitive action when the World Cup qualifiers resume in September.
