Son of Super Eagles legend Nwankwo Kanu, Sean Kanu, has signed his first professional contract with Polish third-tier club Górnik Polkowice.

The 19-year-old, following in the footsteps of his father, secured his first deal after spending time in various academies, including Watford's youth system.

Sean Kanu is now poised to make his competitive senior-level debut for the Polish outfit.

His mother, Amara Kanu, expressed her excitement on social media following her son's achievement.

The proud mother wrote, “Congratulations, son Sean Kanu. You have put in so much work and dedication to your craft, and I am so proud of you. More goals ahead!”

Sean aims to follow the remarkable path of his father, Nwankwo Kanu, who enjoyed a successful career with European clubs such as Ajax, Arsenal, and Portsmouth.
