Nigerian international Raphael Onyedika has returned to training ahead of Club Brugge's crucial UEFA Champions League round of 16 first-leg clash against Aston Villa later today (Tuesday, March 4).

The 23-year-old has been on the sidelines since sustaining an injury in Club Brugge's 2-1 defeat to Standard Liège last month.

The Super Eagles midfielder missed Club Brugge's last game against KAA Gent in the Belgian Jupiler League last Saturday.

Club Brugge manager Nicky Hayen has declared the former Midtjylland midfielder fit for the clash against the Premier League side.

Onyedika's return to fitness comes as good news for Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle as he prepares for the crucial upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe.

The Super Eagles will take on Rwanda on Friday, March 21, before returning home to Nigeria to face Zimbabwe on Tuesday, March 25.
