Former Super Eagles star Ifeanyi Udeze has urged Ola Aina to leave Nottingham Forest and consider a move to Manchester City should the English champions come knocking at his door.

The 28-year-old's contract with Forest expires at the end of the season.

Aina has been in remarkable form for the Tricky Trees, featuring in all 25 Premier League matches in the current campaign.

The former Torino defender has been instrumental to the Reds' impressive run this season, scoring two goals and providing one assist for Nuno Espirito Santo's team.

Nottingham Forest currently sits in 3rd position on the EPL log, only behind leaders Liverpool and Arsenal.

Speaking on Aina's brilliant form for the Tricky Trees, Udeze tipped the Chelsea academy product for a big move.

“For me, I believe Ola Aina is the best right-back in the Premier League this season,” Udeze said.

“I expect him to leave Nottingham Forest at the end of the season. If I’m Aina and a club like Manchester City comes for me, I will leave.”

Udeze's comment comes after recent reports linked the Nigerian international with a move to the Etihad Stadium.
