Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has revealed that youngster Ethan Nwaneri is not allowed to change in the first team's dressing room on matchdays.
Nwaneri, 17, is enjoying his breakthrough season with the Gunners this term.
The teenage sensation of Nigerian descent made his first Premier League and UEFA Champions League starts this season, and has scored in both competitions.
Nwaneri has also racked up decent performances in the Carabao Cup for Mikel Arteta's side.
Speaking on the performance of youngsters Nwaneri and Lewis-Skelly, who were both on the scoresheet during Arsenal's 5-1 thrashing of Manchester City last Sunday, Arteta disclosed that the duo do not share the same dressing room with the first team.
As per the club rules, players can only share the same dressing room with the first team when they turn 18 years old.
“When you see those two (Lewis-Skelly and Nwaneri) walking next to each other, talking to each other, there is a bond there and a chemistry there.
“I imagine for them it is special because at the moment they are still in different dressing rooms [at the training ground].
“Ethan cannot be in our dressing room still, which is unbelievable. He needs to get dressed somewhere else, even on matchday.
“So to have somebody close to him that has that trust, that confidence, that link, I think it is lucky. They are very lucky to have each other.”
