Former Super Eagles player and coach Sunday Oliseh has hailed Leicester City for their victory against Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.

The Foxes ended their seven-match unbeaten run with a 2-1 victory over Spurs at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday, January 26.

It was the first time Leicester have won their two Premier League games against Tottenham Hotspur since their fairytale campaign in 2016.

Richarlison gave the home side the lead in the 33rd minute before Ruud Van Nistelrooy's side turned the game on its head courtesy of goals from Jamie Vardy and Bilal El Khannouss.

Sharing his reaction after the game, Oliseh hailed Wilfred Ndidi and his teammates for their crucial victory.

“Extremely pleased for Jamie Vardy and Leicester with the victory over Tottenham. The joy and sigh of relief I witnessed from the players, fans, and the coaching staff filled me with so much pity, I just had to clap! Bravo, ‘La lotta continua’ to Ndidi and Co,” the former Ajax midfielder wrote on X.
