Super Eagles player, Ola Aina revealed what he enjoys the most about playing for the team.
Aina in a recent interview on NBC Sports’ By Way of Africa series said he relished the opportunity to play in front of the Nigerian fans.
"It’s actually going to Nigeria and playing there in front of the fans. It’s fun and I really enjoy it,' he said.
The 28-year-old has been instrumental for his club side Nottingham Forest as they sit third in the English Premier League table.
Meanwhile, Aina in the same interview disclosed the challenges he faced during his time at the Italian side, Torino.
He noted the language and way of lifestyle were different from what he was used to in England.
He joined Nottingham Forest Torino from 2018 to 2023. He made his Serie A debut in 2018 as a substitute for Lorenzo De Silvestri. Aina scored his first goal for Torino in 2019 against Udinese.
"Probably leaving England to play in Italy. I think that’s been the most pivotal for me because I was out of my comfort zone. I had to learn a different language and another way of life," Aina said.
