Former Chelsea star, Joe Cole has told Arsenal to sign Marcus Rashford from Manchester United.

The England international believes the United star will be a good signing for the Gunners who are reportedly keen on bolstering their attack.

During an interview on TNT Sports, he said Arsenal must attempt to bring it attacking talents that could strengthen their left flank.

“Reports today that Marcus Rashford may be moved on by Manchester United. He’d be a hell of a signing! That’s where they have to shop, Arsenal – on the left side. They’ve got to shop for the very, very top players to improve this team.”

Bukayo Saka and Kai Havertz have been outstanding from the right flank but the left flank remains an area of potential improvement.

Gabriel Martinelli’s inconsistency has raised questions about his ability to make the position his own.

Leandro Trossard, though dependable, is regarded as a strong squad player rather than a guaranteed starter.
