Manchester United's hopes of securing Victor Osimhen's signature in January have been dealt a huge blow.
According to Turkish Football, the Napoli loanee has decided to see out his season-long loan spell with Galatasaray.
The Red Devils were reportedly considering a swap plus cash deal with Napoli, which would see their new summer signing Joshua Zirkzee return to Serie A while Osimhen moves to Old Trafford.
The Dutchman has struggled to replicate his form at Bologna last season, having scored just three Premier League goals since joining the club.
The report, however, indicated that Manchester United could pursue the signing of the reigning African Footballer of the Year in the summer.
Osimhen has been in blistering form since joining the Turkish Super Lig champions in early September.
The 25-year-old has become the mainstay in the Galatasaray attack, registering nine goals and five assists in 12 appearances across all competitions for Okan Buruk's side.
