Super Eagles striker, Paul Onuachu has been nominated for the 2024 FIFA Puskás Award with his stunning scorpion kick goal from last season.

The forward scored the goal against Turkish side, Konyaspor during his loan spell at Trabzonspor in the Turkey Super Lig.

Voting for the prestigious awards features 11 stunning goals from across the globe.

Named after Hungarian football legend Ferenc Puskás, the award recognises the most spectacular goal of the year, covering the qualifying period from 21 August 2023 to 10 August 2024.

Notable names on the list are Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho, and West Ham’s Mohammed Kudus.

Fans can cast their votes on FIFA’s official website to determine the winner for the year’s best goal.

This was announced in a statement on FIFA’s website titled “Voting Open for 2024 FIFA Puskás Award.”

Other nominations for the 2024 FIFA The Best Awards were revealed on Friday.
