The Real Madrid contingents led by President Florentino Pérez has reportedly boycotted the 2024 Ballon d'Or ceremony scheduled to hold later today (October 28, 2024).

Reports indicate that Vinicius Junior, who has widely been reported as the winner of the prestigious award has lost it to Manchester City midfielder Rodri.

The Real Madrid contingents which includes Jude Bellingham, and manager Carlo Ancelotti who has been tipped for the Best Coach award will not be attending the awards gala.

Transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano disclosed this on X, “BREAKING: Vinicius Jr will NOT travel to Paris as Real Madrid know he will NOT win the Ballon d’Or.

“No one from Real Madrid will attend the ceremony.

“No Florentino Pérez, no Vini Jr, no Carlo Ancelotti, no Jude Bellingham.”
