Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen broke his duck for Galatasaray since joining the club after scoring twice against Kasimpasa last Saturday, September 28.

Despite opening his goal account for his new side, the 25-year-old was substituted after halftime due to an injury.

The Super Eagles striker scored the opener in the 20th minute before doubling the lead eight minutes later.

Mauro Icardi scored the third in the 34th minute before the away side pulled a goal back on the stroke of halftime.

Kasimpasa completed the comeback after scoring two late goals to deny Galatasaray a win at Rams Park, Istanbul.

According to a report by Turkish outlet Forza Cimbom, the reigning African Footballer of the Year sustained a hamstring injury.

Osimhen reportedly experienced some discomfort in his muscle and will be monitored in the coming days.

The good news is that the striker could be available for the upcoming UEFA Europa League match against FK Rigas Futbola Skola.

Osimhen has already registered two goals and three assists in four matches for Galatasaray.
