With just three days left to draw the curtain down on the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, Team Nigeria is yet to win its first medal.

In the men's 400m final on Thursday, Nigerian sprinter Samuel Ogazi finished in 7th place with a time of 44.73 seconds, only ahead of the United States' Michael Norman who clocked 45.62 seconds.

The gold medal was won by the United States' Quincy Hall with a time of 43.40 seconds, followed by the UK's Matthew Hudson Smith (43.44s) and Zambia's Muzala Samukonga (43.74)

Nigerians have expressed their disappointment on social media over the lack of medals so far for the Nigerian team.
