Chelsea have reportedly informed midfielder Conor Gallagher he is no longer part of the first team squad.

According to reports, new Chelsea boss Enzo has informed the England international that he is not part of his plans for the upcoming season and will not be training with the first team when the club return from their United States preseason tour.

Despite the Blues accepting a £33 million offer from Athletico Madrid, Gallagher insists on leaving the club on his own terms.

The 24-year-old recently turned down an offer from Aston Villa.

Gallagher, who has one year left on his deal at Stamford Bridge has also rejected a two-year contract extension from Chelsea, insisting on a lengthy deal.

The player is yet to return from his holidays after participating at the European Championship for the Three Lions.
