Former Arsenal forward Nwankwo Kanu featured prominently as the Gunners unveiled their 2024/25 away kit in a heartwarming video.
The new away kit, designed by adidas in collaboration with Labrum London, a British African heritage brand, pays tribute to the club's strong ties with the African community in North London and beyond.
The kit features traditional pan-African elements, including red and green accents, sleeve and collar patterns, and white zig-zags.
The jersey also includes small black details representing cowrie shells, a historic form of currency in parts of Africa.
Foday Dumbuya, founder of Labrum London, expressed his pride in the design, saying:
"As a second-generation immigrant growing up in London, I admired incredible Arsenal players with African heritage. They were amazing role models, playing beautifully and representing our community."
"Arsenal has a strong connection to this community, making this collaboration a proud moment for me," Dumbuya added.
