A video showing the moment Super Eagles coach Finidi George left the meeting with Sports Minister John Enoh and the technical crew of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has surfaced.
In the video, Finidi George could be seen exiting the meeting venue while interacting with other stakeholders.
The video was shared by FIF and CAF-accredited photojournalist Pooja.
According to several reports, Enoh issued an ultimatum to the NFF to restructure the technical crew of the Super Eagles, the technical department, and the technical committee.
The meeting with George and the NFF delegation, led by President Ibrahim Gusau, lasted for four hours.
This meeting followed a challenging 2026 World Cup qualifying campaign by the Super Eagles.
The Super Eagles were held to a 1-1 draw at home by South Africa before being upset 2-1 by Benin.
They are currently second from the bottom in Group C with three points from four matches, trailing front runners Rwanda, South Africa, and Benin by four points.
The qualifying tournament for the 2025 AFCON is set to begin in September.
