The 2023/24 Premier League had a familiar ending on Sunday, with Manchester City lifting the title.

After an intriguing run-in pitting Arsenal, Man City, and Liverpool, Pep Guardiola's side emerged as champions after a flawless run of form.

An Arsenal fan in Nigeria is tired of Guardiola and wants to see the Spaniard leave the English game.

Man City have now won four straight Premier League titles, becoming the first team to do so.

They ended the league with 91 points, two points ahead of their closest challengers, Arsenal, who were banking on a City defeat to West Ham to win their first league title in 20 years.

In 2021, 2022, and 2023, Man City finished the season with 89, 93, and 86 points, respectively. In 2022, they won the league with a point ahead of Liverpool.

The only season Guardiola's team was well-beaten was the 2019/20 season, when Liverpool was on a historic run to win the Premier League with 99 points, 18 ahead of second-placed Man City.

Since then, they have tightened their grip on the Premier League title and will be looking to make it five in a row next season.

Arsenal fans' problem with Guardiola

The Gunners have challenged Man City in the last two seasons but haven't stopped Guardiola's juggernaut.

Mikel Arteta's side has finished second in the last two seasons, and despite making major strides in their growth following years of mediocrity, it feels like they have to go a step further to challenge Man City.

An Arsenal fan in Nigeria is not happy with Guardiola and wants him gone, per Gunners Hub Africa.

"Let them chase Pep Guardiola out of the Premier League. He's a cheat. From 2018 to 2019, Liverpool came in second with 97 points, and Guardiola won the league with 98 points. In 2020/21, Liverpool had 92 points, and Guardiola won the league with 93 points. Last season, Arsenal got 84 points, and Guardiola won the league with 88 points.

"Chase this man from the league, we don't need him anymore," he added.

The Gunners will try again next season, but they'll need to be almost perfect.
