Former Nigeria international Sunday Oliseh has praised the maturity of Super Eagles stars Calvin Bassey and Alex Iwobi during Fulham’s Premier League 2-1 win over Arsenal on Sunday.

Oliseh said both Bassey and Iwobi played decisive roles in Fulham’s home victory over the Gunners.

Goals from Raul Jiménez and Bobby De Cordova-Reid ensured Fulham defeated Mikel Arteta’s side.

Bukayo Saka did score a goal for Arsenal during the encounter.

In a tweet via his X account after the game, Oliseh wrote: “Extremely impressed by the maturity and discipline put up Versus Arsenal by Calvin Bassey and Alex Iwobi as they played decisive roles in Fulham’s victory over a seemingly mentally tired Arsenal. Encouraging for the AFCON. Una do well !”
