Inter Milan Head Coach Simone Inzaghi was beside himself with frustration as he stormed the pitch towards the end of his side's Champions League final clash with Manchester City on June 10.

Inzaghi, who is always abrasive and emotional on the touchline, had to be reminded to step back into his area as he attempted to rally his side to get a late equaliser.

It was a cagey affair at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul, with Inter Milan surprising many by keeping Pep Guardiola's side at bay for long periods of the game.

Inzaghi, a cup final specialist, was finally broken by a Rodri strike from inside the area in the 68th minute. The Nerazzuri failed to get back into the game, with Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku particularly guilty of missing decent opportunities.

With Inter Milan's last opportunity of the game, Inzaghi literally got onto the pitch and beckoned his goalkeeper Andre Onana to come forward for the last corner kick of the game.

A member of his technical staff rushed to ask him to retreat, and the 47-year-old did not take the gesture kindly before he heeded the call and stepped out.

Manchester City goalkeeper, Ederson ended up saving the resultant corner kick as the Premier League champions finally won their first European title.
