Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta believes it is still “mathematically possible” to win the title ahead of Manchester City.
This follows the team's 3-0 defeat to Brighton at the Emirates on Sunday.
The defeat lives the London club four points below City who have one game in hand.
Pep Guardiola’s men could be confirmed champions for the third consecutive campaign if they beat Chelsea next Sunday at the Etihad.
But Arteta is refusing to give up.
“Mathematically it is still possible and this is football, but it is impossible to be thinking about that today.
“We have to be thinking about the result and the performance we had in the second half and understand why and obviously have a different reaction in the next game,” Arteta said.
