A superb hit by Kevin De Bruyne earned Manchester City a draw in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League semifinal clash against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday night.
Brazilian sensation Vinicius Junior gave Los Blancos the lead in the 36th minute with a superb strike from outside the penalty box.
Los Blancos held on to their lead into the halftime break but the visitors got their reward for their dominant display in the 67th minute courtesy of a brilliant hit from Kevin De Bruyne.
The goal from the Belgium man however didn't come without some controversy as many including Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti believes the ball went off the line prior to City's equalizer.
The Italian manager was shown a yellow card by the Portuguese centre referee for protesting the decision.
The goal was not reviewed by the VAR.
The tie is on a knife edge ahead of the second leg at the Etihad Stadium next week.
The ball appeared to go out of play in the buildup before Kevin De Bruyne's equalizer against Real Madrid.
