Napoli talisman Victor Osimhen has declined to comment on his future at the Naples-based club following their recent Serie A triumph.

Osimhen scored the equalizing goal that handed Napoli its third Scudetto title on Thursday, May 4 as Luciano Spalletti's side played out a 1-1 draw away at Udinese.

The title was Napoli's first in over 30 years as their last Scudetto triumph dated back to 1990 during the era of Diego Armando Maradona.

The Serie A-winning goal was Osimhen's 22nd league goal of the season in 27 appearances as he currently leads the top scorers' chart with five matches to play.

The 24-year-old also smashed Samuel Eto's record as the African player to score the most Serie A goals (22) in a single top-flight campaign.

Osimhen's explosive form this season has attracted huge interest from some European giants with Manchester United, Chelsea, PSG, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich all reportedly interested in his services.

Speaking after their historic Serie A win, the Super Eagles striker declined to comment on his future.

“I’m thrilled with this victory,” Osimhen told Sky Italia. “I’m happy for me, for the team and for the fans. I can’t wait to come back in Naples to embrace our fans, even though tonight I already felt the warmth of the people. I’m happy for all the Neapolitans.

“I scored the Scudetto goal, it’s true, but anyone else could have scored it. I feel like a leader and I never give up. Future? Now I want to enjoy this historic moment, this is not the time to think about my future.”
