The Flying Eagles of Nigeria have thrashed Skyline FC 5-0 in a pre-World Cup friendly at the FIFA Goal Project Park in Abuja today, April 28.

The test match forms part of the team's preparation for the 2023 edition of the U-20 FIFA World Cup in Argentina.

Ibrahim Muhammad and Ba’akaka Ali both hit a brace with Samson Lawal adding the other as Coach Ladan Bosso's side took the Jos-based side to the cleaners.

Nigeria have been pitted in Group D alongside five-time champions Brazil, Italy, and the Dominican Republic.

The U-20 Mundial will take place between May 20 and June 11.
