Victor Osimhen is set to miss the first leg of Napoli's UEFA Champions League tie against Serie A rivals AC Milan, Fabrizio Romano reports.
According to the club president, Aurelio de Laurentiis, the 24-year-old is not in good condition to feature against the Serie A champions at Giuseppe Meazza San Siro on Wednesday, April 12.
However, the Serie top scorer will be available for the return fixture at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium on April 18.
“Victor is not in the conditions to play, unfortunately — so we hope to have him back for return fixture at the Maradona on April 18”, Napoli president said via Repubblica.
Osimhen missed the team training on Monday, reports say the Super Eagles striker trained alone before heading to the gym.
The 24-year-old sustained an adductor injury while on international duty with the Super Eagles.
He has missed Napoli's last two games against AC Milan and Lecce in the Italian topflight.
