The Management of Nigerian Clubside Jigawa Golden Stars have fired their technical crew led by Gilbert Opona.

The Management decided to terminate the contract of the coaching crew following their relegation from the top flight to the second tier.

Adamawa finished at the bottom of the 2020-2021 NPFL table with just 25 points from 38 matches

Meanwhile Gilbert Opona’s assistants Auwal Bade and Abdulazeez Adeza also saw their contract terminated by the Club.

Gilbert Opana will now be replaced by Ado Suleiman Mato who is expected to guide them back to the Premier League next season.
