Manchester United forward, Odion Ighalo, has been ranked second on the rich list of African sportsmen in the Premier League.
The ex-Nigerian International who joined United on loan last January has an estimated £18m net worth and ranks behind Egypt's Mo Salah who has an estimated £19m net worth, according to Sunday Times.
On the overall list of the richest U-30 sportsmen in the UK, Gareth Bale tops the list with a net worth estimated around £114m while Anthony Joshua who is the only non-footballer on the list ranks second.
The former Watford striker placed joint-15 alongside Aaron Ramsey (Juventus), Danny Welbeck (Watford), and Jack Wilshere (West Ham).
Ighalo earns a substantial £300,000-a-week wage at his parent club Shanghai Shenhua.
As his loan contract which reportedly worth £130,000-a-week comes to an end on May 31, it is unclear whether he will remain at the Theatre of Dream with his parent club Shanghai Shenhua offering a deal worth £400,000-a-week to have him back.
