The World Heavyweight Boxing Champion, Anthony Oluseni Joshua, has told the Queen of England that he is "proudly Nigerian".
AJ, 30, met the 93-year-old Queen during the Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey, London on Monday.
Standing at 6ft 6in tall, charming Joshua towered over the diminutive 5ft 4in monarch during their brief conversation after the ceremony.
During his reflection at the service, Joshua declared his Nigerian heritage, "I come from the Yoruba people who are the largest and some might say the loudest ethnic group in all of Africa," he said, adding that "I am proudly Nigeria."
He also gave a special shoutout to the British and Nigerian delicacies; "fish and chips, egusi soup and the pounded yam" respectively, with which he was brought up.
