Super Eagles forward, Victor Boniface has spoken after he was fined €25,000 and slammed with a one-match ban after he was found guilty of unsportsmanlike conduct during his team’s recent Super Cup match against VfB Stuttgart.

The fine was announced following an investigation by the German Football Association (DFB) into an incident after the match.

Reacting in a post on social media, he cautioned that any contact who requests money will be blocked following the approximately 44 million naira fine.

“If you bill me for the next three months I fit block you. let’s all be guided” the 2023-24 Bundesliga Rookie of the Year wrote.

Boniface was accused of making an obscene gesture—raising his middle finger—towards Stuttgart players during post-match celebrations.

Boniface and his club, Leverkusen, have since accepted the DFB’s ruling, which includes both a suspension and a fine, making the decision final and legally binding.
