Nigerian defender Ola Aina has become the subject of transfer speculation following his remarkable performance for Nottingham Forest this season.

The 28-year-old has been in exceptional form for Nuno Espírito Santo's side, who are currently sitting third in the Premier League behind Liverpool and Arsenal.

Aina has featured in all 29 Premier League matches for the Tricky Trees this season, registering two goals and an assist.

With his current Forest contract set to expire at the end of the season, the Super Eagles full-back has been tipped for a big move in the summer.

In the latest development, runaway Premier League winners Liverpool are reportedly eyeing a move for Aina as potential replacement for Trent Alexander Arnold who has been linked with a move to Real Madrid at the end of the season.

The England international's contract at Anfield expires at the end of the current campaign and is set to join Los Blancos as a free agent in the summer.
